Production Administrator

Monday to Thursday 09:30 - 14:30, Friday 09:30 - 12:30

Main purpose of position:

To control the ERP system in Production

Position in structure/supervisory responsibilities:

Reports directly to Production Supervisor

Main duties:

Controlling the company ERP system in Production including:

  • Completing jobs in the company ERP system
  • Issuing of stock to production jobs
  • Identifying and resolving production issues within the ERP system
  • Printing job travellers and issuing to the work cell at the beginning of each month
  • Processing rework operations and consuming of stock for rework jobs
  • Processing customer returns and consuming of stock for return jobs
  • Monitoring Work in Progress (WIP) in Production, assist the Production Supervisor in identifying WIP in the run up to the annual stocktake
  • Continuously monitor A-Class items in production
  • Assist the Production Engineering department with validation of parts and structures
  • Liaise with purchasing to ensure due dates on part shortages are available and visible


In addition to the above functions and responsibilities employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

Qualifications and experience:

  • GCSE A*-C in English, Maths and Science
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience using ERP systems an advantage but not essential
  • Experience of Production planning an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team Player
